It takes 10 hours and 40 minutes to travel from Suratthani to Bangkok via a Krungsiam Tour bus. You can board the first express bus from Suratthani at 7.40am and arrive to the Southern Terminal, Bangkok at 18.20pm. The next express bus leaves at 7.15pm and arrives the following day at 5.55am. An express bus ticket will cost you THB 500.
If you choose to travel VIP, you’ll need THB 600. You can board the first bus at 7.00pm and arrive at 5.45am, or catch the 7.15pm, and 7.30pm buses that check-in at the Southern Terminal, Bangkok at 5.55am and 6.15am respectively.
After calling to the Southern Bus Terminal, Krungsiam buses proceed to their office at Ratchadamnoen Avenue, Bangkok, so you can also alight there, though the ticket price will be slightly different.
The 7.00pm VIP bus from Suratthani arrives to Ratchadamnoen Avenue 10 hours later and the 7.28pm bus arrives at 6.28am. A VIP bus ticket for this trip will cost THB 650.
An express bus also leaves Suratthani for Ratchadamnoen Avenue, Bangkok at 7.15pm and arrives 10 hours and 30 minutes later at 5.45am. Set aside THB 550, the price of your ticket for this trip.
Similarly, two Krungsiam Tour express buses leave Ratchadamnoen Avenue, Bangkok for Suratthani. The 4.30pm bus that arrives in Suratthani 13 hours later at 5.30am and the 4.30pm bus for Suratthani Seatran that arrives at 7.05am, 14 hours and 35 minutes later. You’ll need THB 550 for your trip to Suratthani and THB 700 to Suratthani Seatran.
The VIP buses leave Ratchadamnoen Avenue, Bangkok at 4.30pm and arrive in Suratthani at 6.00am and Suratthani Seatran at 7.05am. A ticket to Suratthani costs THB 650 and Suratthani Seatran THB 800.
If you want to board the VIP24 bus, you will depart at 4.30pm and alight in Suratthani at 5.30am and Suratthani Seatran at 7.05am. To acquire a ticket on this bus, you’ll require THB 820 to Suratthani and THB 950 to Suratthani Seatran.
Enroute the same express buses call to the Southern Terminal, Bangkok, at 8.45am and 7.00pm, a journey that takes 10 hours and 30 minutes. Tickets cost THB 500.
The VIP24 bus departs at 7.30pm and the VIP bus leaves at 8.00am. They both arrive 10 hours and 35 minutes later with tickets for the VIP24 bus going for THB 780 and the VIP bus THB 600.
Krungsiam Tour offers combination tickets to Koh Phangan and Koh Samui which include a ferry ride to the islands. Buses originate from Krungsiam Tour Office in Ratchadamnoen Avenue and then pick up passengers at the Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai) before proceeding south to Suratthani.
It is important to note that at Sai Tai Mai buses make a two-hour break. If you start from Ratchadamnoen Avenue, you will have to get off the bus to board it again later.
In Suratthani, the bus drops off passengers at the Seatran Ferry office where they are picked up and transferred to Koh Samui or Koh Phangan.
From Ratchadamnoen Avenue to Koh Phangan you can board the 4.30pm express or VIP24 bus and the 5.00pm VIP bus. You’ll arrive 10 hours and 30 minutes later, with the express bus ticket going for THB 900, the VIP24 ticket THB 1,200, and VIP THB 1000.
Three Krungsiam Tour buses are scheduled to leave Southern Terminal, Bangkok for Thong Sala (Koh Phangan). The express bus at 7.00pm, the VIP24 bus at 7.30pm, and VIP bus at 8.00pm. The total duration of the journey is 10 hours and 30 minutes. Express bus tickets for this trip cost THB 950, VIP24 bus tickets THB 1,190 and VIP bus tickets THB 1000.
If you are traveling from Bangkok to Koh Samui, you can either board an express, VIP, or VIP24 Krungsiam Tour bus at Ratchadamnoen Avenue, Bangkok at 4.30pm and arrive in
Na Thon (Koh Samui) 17 hours and 30 minutes later. For an express bus ticket, you require THB 850, THB 950 for a VIP bus ticket and THB 1,100 for a VIP24 bus ticket.
From Southern Terminal, Bangkok to Na Thon (Koh Samui), you can catch the 7.00pm express bus and arrive at 10.00am the following day, or the 7.30pm VIP24 bus that takes 14 hours and 30 minutes, and the 8.00pm VIP bus that arrives 14 hours later at 10.00am. It will cost you THB 850 to travel on the express bus, THB 950 on the VIP bus and THB 1,100 on the VIP24 bus.
Krungsiam Tour express buses come with air conditioning, a washroom, and stewards.

VIP and VIP24 buses offer the same services plus the added advantage of food and TV for entertainment.
Children, up to three years may ride for free on their parent's lap.
The buses, however, use extensive air conditioning to avoid water condensing.
Krungsiam Tour does not accept cancellations or offer refunds; therefore, passengers should check in 30 minutes before departure. It is also important to note that arrival times are for reference only and sometimes buses can be late.
Some staff on the bus may not speak English.
Those traveling from Bangkok to Koh Samui should check in at least one hour before departure. Because the trip takes 17 hours and 30 minutes, the bus stops in the middle of the route so that passengers can have a free meal at a local restaurant.
A comfortable bus with good seats, snacks and tv screens, a very good trip, and amazing staff are just a few of the positive remarks passengers have given for Krungsiam Tour. The Company also receives negative feedback for poor organization, freezing AC, and long delays. However, as noted above, the AC on the buses is extensive so carry warm clothes.
