At 12Go our operators offer three types of service:

Cheap, Fast, Good - but you can usually pick only two of them!
Cheap & Fast won’t be Good. (e.g. buses from/to Khao San Road, local buses or 3rd class trains)
Cheap & Good won’t be Fast. (e.g. VIP trains in Thailand)
Fast & Good won’t be Cheap. (e.g. private limousine services, or VIP24 buses vs Express buses)

Make your choice! Please remember that while we are closely monitoring the services, we are still an agency marketplace. That means we focus on ticketing services and route availability & coverage rather than on the factual seat reclining angle you will get on the bus today.

Bus was comfortable, aircon worked nicely, snack water and tissue were good. We left 15 minutes late and arrived 2 hours at least behind schedule - due to heavy traffic and bad road surfaces. Be aware if you have onward travels booked. Otherwise decent journey.

Set off on time and arrived on time, friendly staff there was a driver and 2 other staff on board. We got a water and snack each which was nice, Wi-Fi didn't work but never mind we had stuff downloaded. Toilet stop too. Will use again!

The AC was not working properly, which made the 5hr journey very unpleasant .

The bus was very comfortable, lots of legroom. What bothered me is that the last 50 km the road in very bad condition was and that the driver at very high speed drove Kind regards.

You need a comfortable bus for this trip as a large section of the road before Kampot is being rebuilt. Very bumpy and dusty on this section of the trip. In our experience of drivers in Cambodia to date, the middle line is only a suggestion as we were often on the far left even on the good roads. That said this trip was so much safer than our last minivan trip with a different company. The water and buns is a nice touch. Plenty of leg room, great air conditioning and wifi. You can also charge devises on the bus. Recommend

Bouteille d’eau et petit pain offert. Bus spatieux et confortable. Pause pour manger. Cependant quelques frayeurs à cause de l’etat déplorable des routes cambodgiennes.

Good and comfortable but toilet and WiFi not working. Also didn't have a vegan friendly snack for us unlike the bus from Saigon.

My wife and I have been travelling around Asia (Indian subcontinent, China, then SE Asia) so we are absolutely used to the way things work in here as well as the appalling road conditions and safety. Yet Giant Ibis managed to surprise... We had booked our bus ticket ahead long before the actual traveling day. Had we not walked casually by the Giant Ibis bus station in Phnom Penh ahead of our planned departure time to Kep, we would have never known that the schedule had been completely changed. No notice nor email whatsoever, ridiculous... Why do they even ask contact details then ? As we were seating in the bus, the attendant informed us the journey would take 4h, so clearlly the expected durationis known, yet advertised differently, which is dishonest. You pay extra money for a better service (after all, aren't they the most expensive on the market ?) and still get an idiot for a driver who only stops the horn/klaxon when he is busy answering his phone... of course overspeeding for the road conditions. We almost got an accident, to which the driver and his assistant could only laugh... seriously ???? Wi-Fi also was "broken", as usual... This is Cambodia, if you really want it fixed, it takes 5min, but I guess they don't care. And at last, 30min before reaching our destination, we had to stop because the driver wanted to eat... Seriously, wtf??? That is customer care, you delay everybody in your f***ing bus because one person doesn't want to wait 30min to eat... Absolutely ridiculous... We expected better, and were in our right... Otherwise we arrived safe and sound, which is the most important, but one should always keep in mind what is being paid for before being too generous with a review, and check what is actually delivered against what was promised (a 3h-long VIP-like journey vs an almost 5h sum of ridiculous "service")... Instead of arriving at the advertised 4:30pm, we ended up in Kep at 7:30pm, which does make a difference...

We were informed by email in the morning of departure that the bus will depart 1h 15min later. This was no problem for us. But the ride took 1h longer than scheduled which got us to our destination even later. We really liked that the bus driver let us out a bit earlier close to our hotel.
