The bus itself is quite comfortable and I would like to give a special thank you to the guide who was very helpful, friendly and polite. The driver drove safely and well. However we were delayed at the border waiting for some passengers. The wait in the parked bus was for about one and a half hours. This wait was unacceptable. We should have been allowed off the bus to go to a coffee shop or restaurant and to come back at an agreed time. At least we should have all been given another restroom break before leaving for Bangkok.

The staff are all great. The two drivers are very careful on the road. The conductor was extremely helpful, cheerful and accommodating. He made our trip so much easier and fun. I highly recommend Giant Ibis to those travelling from Bangkok to Cambodia and vice versa.

Safe and comfortable journey, good air con, leg room and reclining seats. Provided with a pastry and can of coffee, and a box of rice halfway through which was nice. Delayed at the border (through no fault of Giant Ibis) so had a bit of sitting around on the bus. This meant we hit traffic and arrived about 3 hours later than expected. Despite this, would recommend this company, our trips with them have been safe, comfortable and we personally had no issues crossing the border.

Great choice was fast and efficient. Nothing they can do about the boarder wait being long but that was the only annoying bit! After the boarder crossing we were given lunch and a bottle of water so that was nice.

I was travelling with a friend and we were very happy with the bus trip! The bus guide spoke very good English and was very willing to help with our visa and also he let us out near the Suvarnabhumi Airport which saved us alot of money on taxi from the bus station to the Airport. It took us >2 hours to get through the border from Cambodia to Thailand due to much traffic there, the guide said it sometimes takes an hour and sometime two. The seats on the bus were very comfortable. We switched buses at the border but the drivers took care of our luggage. There was no toilet on the bus but we stopped twice at gas stations and again at the border. We got 2 meals and water.

The website over rated the bus. The driver was rude when I asked if it's d bus for Bkk. The bus is old and ticket is over price. Seat #s were confusing. The only (+) plus of the trip was the assistant. He was very pleasant, helped and guided us. Will not recommend Giant Ibis. The stars is for Mr assistant/conductor. Thank sir!

The bus chairs were very comfortable and had USB and electric socket ports. The WiFi worked well. The staff constantly provided updates and were hands-on during the border crossing.

The bus was broken in middle of the trip, so the driver moved us to the new bus. But it seemed like they didn’t take into account our subsequent trip. The new bus was so crowded and we were almost unable to sit. The new bus driver dropped us too far away from immigration without clear direction of what to do. The worst thing was, we needed to bring all of our luggage through immigration since we need to change the bus. After the immigration, we waited for like 2 hours to get into a van and we didn’t have the free lunch which has been promised by the travel agency. Our trip to Bangkok using that van was so long like eons, the driver stopped by rest areas so many times. Finally they didn’t drop us to exact location that made us figuring out where to stop to our nearest place.

Great service: bus was comfy and spacious, wifi at least for the cambodian part, you get some snack, simple lunch, some water and nescafe. Our guide was friendly, explained things, and the border crossing was smooth. All in all the ride worked out just fine.

Very good service from start to finish. The journey was comfortable and we were kept informed throughout the journey. We were travelling with 2 children. We were walked through the border without issue and given guidance, if needed. There was an issue with one of the passengers passports. The bus waited for her and wouldn't leave until she arrived an hour later. It wasn't an inconvenience for us. But showed the company was looking after its passengers! Very good, I would recommend.

I was impressed with this service. The border crossing was very hectic and I would have been at a loss for what to do. However you are guided through the entire process by Giant Ibis. This alone made the whole thing worth it. In the future I would just fly because the bus ride is so long, however if I had to cross the land border I would use Giant Ibis again to do so. More importantly, unlike my last journey with them my bags arrived dry and fish free. We got into Bangkok two hours later than we were supposed to. However our guide told us this was the normal time to arrive. Giant Ibis needs to adjust the time advertised to reflect the reality.

We took the 745 Saturday morning bus from Siem Reap to Bangkok. We got complimentary pickup from our hotel, and the bus left about 15 mins late. They gave out coffee and croissants for breakfast and it was just a few hrs to the border. They made it super easy to exit Cambodia, but lines were really long to get into Thailand, so it took about 2-3 hours total at the border (not Giant Ibis' fault) and we were later than expected arriving in Bangkok. Aircon was great, but we couldn't get the wifi to work. The bus broke down close to Bangkok airport, but they got it running within 15 mins. Overall, we would definitely consider using them again if we were making the same land crossing.

Our bus broke down. Had to wait for an hour for another bus to take us. Well, at least there was another bus that came. I'm taking the plane next time though.
