The old bus with 2 & 1 seats row has no Toilet inside and seats are too close (less gap for footrest) and some recliners were not working properly (need repair). Good staffs that taking care passangers, including when crossing the border with the same bus but we had to carry luggages (requirement by Vietnam Immigration). The bus stopped 2 times that provided enough to time to go toilet and buy some foods/drinks. But, the bus also stopped many times to picked up and dropped off some passengers midway. Not so recommended bus.

Smooth border crossing from Cambodia to Vietnam. Very helpful staff on the bus that guided us through. Arrived a bit later than indicated, but was expected due to morning traffic.

We decided to book the Giant Ibis as it was marketed as the more comfortable and efficient service. There was definitely more leg space however we had a really scary experience at the border as unfortunately after having got our passports stamped at the Cambodian border, the coach had gone on without us, we walked to the Vietnamese passport control where we couldn't see anyone from our coach. The tour guide had not counted the number of passengers back onto the coach which had driven all the others round to the restroom/duty free building. We suddenly spotted the tour guide at the Vietnames passport control who was surprised to see us. She organised motorbikes to take us back to the restroom/duty free hall however directed them to the wrong place. One of the drivers found out where we needed to go! With hindsight I would have booked the more cramped competition's VIP bus (as we had previously done) which made sure all passengers were on the coach and arrived early rather than Giant Ibis who arrived 2 hours late without an apology for leaving us or being late.!

No wifi and the operator doesn’t speak even a little english. However, the guy in the main office or in the bus station is very friendly and accommodating.

They let us take the earlier trip. Placed us in a good seat along the way even though the consequence of the taking the earlier trip was us supposed to be taking the far end row.

The bus doesn’t seem like a hotel bus as we expect it. It is an old bus with beds on it. Though it doesn’t smell foul. The driver drives fast and didn’t bother to even wake us up at the cambodia border. Good thing one of us woke up and realized that most of the passengers are gone. The bus did not follow the beds we reserved. They are already occupied when we rode the bus which is a disappointment because what’s the point of assigning beds if you’re not going to follow it?

The trip was smooth. The border crossing leaving the Cambodia was simple and fast. Entering the Vietnam border took a little more time, we had to unload our luggage and take it through the border as we entered, and then it was loaded back on to the bus. At times the instructions given by the bus host, was too fast to fully understand. We stopped for lunch between the Cambodian and Vietnamese border (about 30 min). Overall, nothing to fret about. Remember, you MUST have your Vietnamese visa prior to boarding the bus.

The trip was fine but the communication was insufficient. Especially at the border, we were deliberately not told about the border crossing procedure. It seemed like a scam because the operators asked for a few extra dollars to get the passport stamp for us (although you can simply do that by yourself)

Nice bus service. No issues crossing the border. We arrived a little later than expected, but I don't think it was the fault of the driver. I would ride again.

I suppose that for the money, the ride got us to HCMC, though not near the comfort of our previous Giant ride from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. Our driver was a maniac driver like the others commented, but I am fortunate that we had no accident or breakdown. Wifi pretty much sucked. But you get what you pay for, I guess.

Was mostly good except when on the Vietnam side for immigration, we weren't given any direction and it took a very long time. Though I believe the wait was due to problems with the Vietnamese immigration system.

Usually Giant ibis are great. Was unfortunate that on this trip we had to swap busses part way because the bus we were on didnt have a pass to get into Vietnam. We swapped with another bus and their passengers at a muddy side street. Was fairly discomforting. Also was stressful checking to make sure our bags were put into our bus. WiFi wasnt working on our bus ride either. Also no toilet on board.

Not too bad, the air con and WIFI wasn't as good as other Giant IBIS busses we have been on, the problem is this bus broke down, and the staff did not give us any update or keep us informed. We were told it would be 1.5 hours before the new bus would be there, on the side of the road with a smoking bus. We had to get a taxi the rest of the journey.

Overall the trip was good. Border was flawless, however the bus conductor didn't understand thst some Europeans don't need visas so someone had to translate that it was okay for us not to have a visa in our passport
