At 12Go our operators offer three types of service:

Cheap, Fast, Good - but you can usually pick only two of them!
Cheap & Fast won’t be Good. (e.g. buses from/to Khao San Road, local buses or 3rd class trains)
Cheap & Good won’t be Fast. (e.g. VIP trains in Thailand)
Fast & Good won’t be Cheap. (e.g. private limousine services, or VIP24 buses vs Express buses)

Make your choice! Please remember that while we are closely monitoring the services, we are still an agency marketplace. That means we focus on ticketing services and route availability & coverage rather than on the factual seat reclining angle you will get on the bus today.

All was fine until we hit the Malaysian border. Our driver did not prioritize passenger safety or comfort. We were informed by Malaysian police that our driver had over 10 outstanding speeding tickets in Malaysia, which he refused to pay. He eventually payed just one of them off and we were on our way after an unnecessary 30 minute delay. Once we were driving along in Malaysia, and after about an hour on the road, he was pulled over for yet ANOTHER speeding ticket. The driver was texting while driving and making phone calls on top of this. He also refused to let one of our group out of the four crammed seats in the back and into the vacant front seat until after we crossed into Malaysia.

Left out in the middle of the bus stop at 4am instead of 6am and then we had to jot across the city to pick up this bus offices were closed till 8am so sat waiting for 4 hours, just be careful booking and know where your getting dropped off and where the next bus is picking you up from

Unfortunately we was unable to make this trip as our connecting bus did not arrive. However I’m sure the service would have been sufficient and done the job!

We were due to set off at 3 but didn’t leave until 3:45 despite the bus sitting outside and just four of us getting on it. It was a smaller mini bus which was good we had plenty of space. After finally setting off, four minutes later around the corner the driver crashed into a woman in front. While they were dealing with this for an hour we weren’t allowed off the bus to get water or stretch our legs. We arrived in Penang almost three hours late

The price is good but it is in a very full very cramped mini van. Border crossing adds around an hour delay so if you take the afternoon option you will be dropped at the bus station in Georgetown late. We arrived an hour late so 9pm. Also driver dropped other local passengers off first in various points in Penang which added to delay.

Left right on time...a little confusing at the border crossing into Malaysia...could have given better direction, we stood in the wrong line for 20 minutes before someone informed us to change lines. Otherwise good service and dropped us at our hotel in Georgetown

Good trip, old van but driver was good and drove me to my hotel in Georgetown which was new and quite hard to find. Older driver in his 50s with a moustash and red rimmed glasses. He was very good and drove well, all in all a good trip and cheap.

Agence and first contact with agence was good But driver was very crazy. Don't speak english (no explanation for border passage) And we are not sure that the point of drop off to be the one that was written on the ticket Agence ok, but drivers not ok

Rather spacey van, enough leg room to be comfortable. Driver didn't speak any English but the different checkpoints at the border crossing went very smooth anyway. Would definitely recommend again. However, the departure time is wrong. It is 09:30, not 09:00 as stated on the 12go ticket.
